Kids Test Kitchen - Summer Week 1: Kids Test Kitchen Kids Test KitchenKids’ Test Kitchen is on a mission to get eaters of all ages and abilities cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients! On a mission to get eaters of all ages and abilities, cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients! We present kids the opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned! Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids’ Test Kitchen, where participation is encouraged, and the choice to taste is always one’s own. Lessons are planned to celebrate seasonal produce, whole grains, and legumes. Yes – join us again! Each scheduled series of classes offers fresh new recipes to prepare and explore! Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. We know allergies and can work around them, making sure that everyone is having fun and staying safe!
SUMMER PROGRAMS!We are so excited to be offering Kids Test Kitchen Workshops this summer! Open to ages 6+ (Residents and Non-Residents welcome!)Kids’ Test Kitchen is on a mission to get young eaters cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients! Let’s continue to redefine kid food; one lesson, and one child at a time!In this multi-hour vacation session, your eaters, working together, will prepare entrées, fun snacks, and side items whose key ingredients are known to be really good for us! During this intensive mini-clinic , we’ll focus a bit more on learning practical cooking skills, while finding fun ways to enjoy the produce of the season! We will use every second of our time together! Along with cooking and tasting, which will be the emphasis, we’ll also take short breaks to burn up some calories and flex our brain muscles – digging a bit deeper into the world of nutrition with fun activities. Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy KTK, where participation is expected, but tasting is always optional. Each session arrives with fresh new recipes and ideas to inspire your healthy eater!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun.
