Groton-Dunstable Middle School South Building (Performing Arts Center)
Who can register for camp?
Any rising 5th - 12th grade students, including HS seniors that have graduated.
Campers DO NOT have to attend Groton-Dunstable Schools to participate.
What is the cost of camp and is there a discount?
The cost is $750. The cost stays the same for any time missed.
What show will be performed?
The Addams Family Musical: Young@Part®
What if we are on vacation for part of camp?
That’s fine! We will be excited to see you when you return! You can still be part of the show.
We are traveling the week of July 4th and will miss auditions. Is that okay?
Yes! You can submit a video audition to be considered for a role in the musical.
We will miss the performance dates. Should we still participate in camp?
Yes! You can still be part of camp, however, we recommend that you participate with the tech crew. This would be a great opportunity to learn all aspects of musical theater that are essential to the final product!
My child has never tried musical theater before. What can they expect?
They will find a home away from home! Theater is an accepting environment for everyone!
My child wants to do the behind-the-scenes work. Is this an option?
Yes! Tech crew allows campers to design sets, props, costumes, lights and sound. We need you!
My child is nervous to audition but still would like to be part of camp. How can I reassure them?
We understand the butterflies! Tell them that everyone wants them to succeed and have fun. If stage fright is too daunting, we will be happy to come up with a successful plan for your child.
Will my child still have a part, regardless of auditions?
Absolutely! Once registered, everyone will be part of the show.
How will the wide age differences be handled?
All campers will be supervised during rehearsals and will mentor/learn from each other.
What do I bring to camp?
Water bottle, script, pencil and plenty of positive energy! Snack time and lunch will NOT be provided.

We will miss the performance dates. Should we still participate in camp?
Yes! You can still be part of camp, however, we recommend that you participate with the tech crew. This would be a great opportunity to learn all aspects of musical theater that are essential to the final product!
My child has never tried musical theater before. What can they expect?
They will find a home away from home! Theater is an accepting environment for everyone!
My child wants to do the behind-the-scenes work. Is this an option?
Yes! Tech crew allows campers to design sets, props, costumes, lights and sound. We need you!
My child is nervous to audition but still would like to be part of camp. How can I reassure them?
We understand the butterflies! Tell them that everyone wants them to succeed and have fun. If stage fright is too daunting, we will be happy to come up with a successful plan for your child.
Will my child still have a part, regardless of auditions?
Absolutely! Once registered, everyone will be part of the show.
How will the wide age differences be handled?
All campers will be supervised during rehearsals and will mentor/learn from each other.
What do I bring to camp?
Water bottle, script, pencil and plenty of positive energy! Snack time and lunch will NOT be provided.
