Community Education: Student Expectations

Groton-Dunstable Community Education Program
Behavior Expectations for Students 2025-2026

  1. All students are expected to be kind and respectful to each other. This is an encouraging, fun and supportive environment. Teasing, humiliating or bullying will not be tolerated and will result in disciplinary action and/or removal from the program.

  1. During the program, students are expected to be respectful and listen to the instructor. Our goal is to always provide a safe and fun environment for all students attending the extended day program. In order to do so, we require students to be safe, cooperative and appropriate at all times. Disrespect or out-of-control behavior will not be tolerated.

  1. Students are expected to treat our school building and facilities with respect.
Students will not be permitted to roam the hallways or enter any classrooms that they don't have permission to be in, this includes once students are released to parents/guardians. It is our expectation that all spaces be treated with care and respect.

  1. Students must inform the instructor if they need to leave the room for any reason. To reduce wandering around the school, we will only be using the restrooms CLOSEST to the room in which the program takes place.

  1. Students are not permitted to leave the building for any reason unless it’s for parent pick-up. Students who leave the building at times other than these will be subject to disciplinary action, and may be asked to leave the program.

  1. Any willful destruction of school property or violation of safety protocol will result in immediate removal from the program.

Violation of the agreement will result in a required meeting with Community Education Administrators to determine program eligibility.

I understand and agree with the Groton Dunstable Community Education Behavioral Expectations:
