GROTON-DUNSTABLESUMMER PROGRAM 2026 Located at the Peter Twomey Youth Center, the Summer Program provides an array of activities, field trips, and creative learning opportunities in a supportive, warm, and relaxing environment.The program is non-profit and self-supporting, sponsored by the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District. Daily hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Registration will open on February 4thACTIVITIES include arts & crafts, wading pool, sports, swimming, and outdoor play. Trips to the beach are every Tuesday and Thursday, weather permitting. Your child must bring sunscreen, a swimsuit & change of clothing every day!!-SUNSCREEN MUST BE PROVIDED BY THE PARENT- the program does not provide sunscreen for your child; if your child does not have sunscreen they may be kept inside or required to remain in the shade at the beach. Breakfast is provided for children who arrive before 8:30 am. Children must bring their own lunch (no nut food products allowed). FIELD TRIPS are scheduled for Wednesdays. Any child registered for Wednesdays will get a free “field trip t-shirt.” A separate permission form & fee is required and ALL students registered for Wednesdays go on the field trip. Trip locations vary from year to year.  If registered for Wednesdays, you will be responsible for the cost of the FIELD TRIP even if your child does not attend that day. We must make reservations & commit to payment in advance for the field trips based on the registration numbers.ENROLLMENT is on a first-come, first-serve basis and is open to any child in grades K through 6, as of September 2026.  There is a non-refundable $30 (per family) registration fee for registrations received before June 3rd, a $45 fee for registrations received after June 10th, and a $75 fee after July 15th.  COUNSELOR IN TRAINING SUMMER 2026   Located at the Peter Twomey Youth Center, the CIT program prepares teens entering 8th-9th grade to become future leaders by developing self-esteem, peer relations, interpersonal skills, and leadership techniques. The CIT program will collaborate with the PTYC Summer Program. It will allow students to gain valuable experience and explore future career possibilities as they work with the campers and staff.The PTYC Summer Program provides an array of activities, field trips, and creative learning opportunities in a supportive, warm, and relaxing environment. It is for Kindergarten- 6th grade students. GROTON-DUNSTABLESUMMER PROGRAM 2026 Located at the Peter Twomey Youth Center, the Summer Program provides an array of activities, field trips, and creative learning opportunities in a supportive, warm, and relaxing environment.The program is non-profit and self-supporting, sponsored by the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District. Daily hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Registration will open on February 4thACTIVITIES include arts & crafts, wading pool, sports, swimming, and outdoor play. Trips to the beach are every Tuesday and Thursday, weather permitting. Your child must bring sunscreen, a swimsuit & change of clothing every day!!-SUNSCREEN MUST BE PROVIDED BY THE PARENT- the program does not provide sunscreen for your child; if your child does not have sunscreen they may be kept inside or required to remain in the shade at the beach. Breakfast is provided for children who arrive before 8:30 am. Children must bring their own lunch (no nut food products allowed). FIELD TRIPS are scheduled for Wednesdays. Any child registered for Wednesdays will get a free “field trip t-shirt.” A separate permission form & fee is required and ALL students registered for Wednesdays go on the field trip. Trip locations vary from year to year.  If registered for Wednesdays, you will be responsible for the cost of the FIELD TRIP even if your child does not attend that day. We must make reservations & commit to payment in advance for the field trips based on the registration numbers.ENROLLMENT is on a first-come, first-serve basis and is open to any child in grades K through 6, as of September 2026.  There is a non-refundable $30 (per family) registration fee for registrations received before June 3rd, a $45 fee for registrations received after June 10th, and a $75 fee after July 15th.
