MIDDLE SCHOOL FALL/SPRING PLAYS 2025-2026

Due to low enrollment in Seussical, registrants who signed up for Descendants are able to join Seussical. If you are interested, please email our office.

FALL SHOW:

FALL REGISTRATION for GRADES 5-8 CAST and CREW:

Before Sept 8th : $150(Cast)/$95 (Crew)
After Sept 8th: $170(Cast)/$115 (Crew)
LIMITED SPACE FOR CAST + CREW
Please note your registration is not complete until payment has been made.

September 8th (Last Name A-L) September 9th(Last Name M-Z)
2:30PM-4:00PM in the Performing Arts Center

FALL REHEARSALS:
Beginning September 15th. All Cast and Crew must attend the first rehearsal and bring a 3-ring binder. Rehearsals will run Monday through Friday, 2:30-4:00pm for Cast. Crew rehearsals will be 2-3/week.

FALL PERFORMANCE DATES:

November 14th 7PM + November 15th 2PM/7PM

Fall-2025 Seussical Jr.

Auditions: Sept. 8th and 9th

Rehearsals begin on Sept. 15th

Spring-2026 Descendants

Auditions: Feb. 9th and 10th

Rehearsals begin on Feb. 23rd

Performance Dates: April 10th at 7pm and April 11th at 2pm and 7pm

Can I register my student for both performances?

Due to low enrollment in Seussical, registrants who signed up for Descendants are able to join Seussical. If you are interested, please email our office.

Who can register for the play?

Grade 5-8 students can register for the play. You can register for CAST or CREW.

What if space is full for the production my student is interested in?

Enrollment for GDCE plays is limited and in high demand. If there is no available room in the show your student is most interested in, you may register for the waitlist. If space becomes available in that show, the GDCE office will contact you. If space does not become available, you will be eligible for the alternate show.

What if we cannot attend rehearsals all of the days?

There will be a custom form required to be filled out upon registration . Please be as transparent as possible with your students' availability. We understand that other obligations happen, however, being a part of a production is a large commitment. If your student is not going to attend on a certain date, please communicate this with the play directors.

My child wants to do the behind-the-scenes work. Is this an option?

Yes, your child can sign up to be a part of the crew. Please note, space is incredibly limited for the crew.

Will my child still have a part, regardless of auditions?

Yes. Auditions are to assist in casting students in specific roles. ALL students who audition will be cast and participate in the show.
